Our Head of Learning and Development, Antonia Fox, is the driving force behind Mail Metro Media’s commitment to making health, wellbeing, and equality a central piece of every employee’s career. Since joining Mail Metro Media nearly 10 years ago, Antonia’s passion, energy, and focus have been infectious, championing staff consideration at every turn.

One of Antionia’s most prominent skills is nurturing existing talent: providing colleagues with the tools to flourish and grow in their careers, and ensuring that we always put our people first. On top of that, her passionate fight for racial and gender equity within the workplace has transformed our culture from the inside out. Antonia launched our ED&I Committee in 2020, encouraging staff to discuss the deep-rooted issues about race and inclusion in the workplace and have the difficult conversations that lead to real change. Since the pandemic, Antonia has brought a renewed focus on mental health. After inviting a mental health speaker to meet the senior leadership team, our understanding of the need for support grew massively and Antonia overhauled our approach to mental health. Now, we have more than 70 colleagues registered as Mental Health First Aiders! All trained and ready to provide immediate support to any employee who needs it. The effect Antonia has had on health and wellbeing at Mail Metro Media cannot be overstated - she has been nothing short of transformative, using her love of people to drive change and inspiring others to do the same.
