Starting as a Staffing Director 15 years ago to her role today as Global COO, Carina’s played a pivotal role in Elevate's success story and journey. She led the company’s expansion into five international markets, achieving an impressive 123% revenue growth in the US branch over three years, despite industry challenges. Currently, Elevate is on track to deliver an impressive 140% growth by April 2025 from the year before.

Carina has also been the driving force behind 'Elevating Purpose,' our ESG framework to use our global platform to positively impact our people, local communities, and the environment. Carina's unwavering commitment to inclusivity is demonstrated through Elevate’s "Blind Profiles" initiative to reduce unconscious bias event staff selection, and she further reinforced this commitment through ElevateHer, an initiative aimed at reducing the gender gap and minimising discrimination against women in the workplace. Following her passion for mentorship and personal development, Carina built Elevate's in-house mentoring programme, Elevation, which currently impacts 37 mentees directly. Externally, she's actively involved with mentoring initiatives like LMF and The Girls Network. Beyond Elevate, Carina is a highly prominent figure in the events industry, serving as a judge for prestigious event industry awards for companies such as Campaign, IPM, The Drum, Eventex and C&IT, for over four years. Her involvement has notably contributed to the UK winning Campaign's Best Place to Work Award in 2023. Carina also earned a spot on the micebook Power 50 list as a Green Champion, acknowledging her significant impact in the industry.
