Open Justice For All

Founder

After my trial for coercive controlling behaviour and rape left me feeling powerless and disbelieved, I became determined to understand what had happened in the courtroom. I soon discovered that accessing transcripts could cost over £20,000. It was shocking. It exposed a wider culture of closed doors. Instead of accepting it, I launched the Open Justice For All campaign.

I built a campaign with one clear aim: court transcripts should be free for victims of RASSO cases so that no one would need to go through what I did. From that moment, I poured every ounce of anger and energy into something that grew far beyond anything I expected. What began as a simple petition gained immediate traction, drawing in survivors whose stories echoed my own. I assembled a committed team of campaigners, who also wanted their voices be heard and I used my marketing skills to build national visibility. Countless of victims told their stories across major news outlets, mobilised thousands on social media, and encouraged people everywhere to write to their MPs. Three years of persistence paid off when The Ministry of Justice confirmed the reform would become permanent. From May 2025 onward, RASSO victims receive free court transcripts because I refused to stop fighting for those who come after me.
