Dinah Williams is a trailblazer in the UK advertising communications sector and beyond, driving transformative change through leadership, innovation, and equity. In 2020, she co-founded Bloom in Colour, an inclusion group for Women of Colour and allies in Bloom UK, growing it into Bloom’s largest initiative with over 100 members. Dinah introduced the Head of Allyship role, integrating an intersectional lens into Bloom’s gender equality efforts.In 2021, she founded Avenir Network, a cultural change consultancy creating measurable impact for marginalized communities in advertising. Avenir’s behavioural science-driven approach to DEI solutions has driven a 337% revenue increase in the past year and established it as a leader in cultural transformation. In October 2024, Avenir became a Living Wage Employer, demonstrating Dinah’s commitment to ethical practices. As the first Black woman freelance trainer for NABS’ #TimeTo initiative, Dinah has tackled sexual harassment and intersectional discrimination, expanding the program to foster inclusive dialogues. As an ICF-accredited coach, she has empowered over 20 women in marketing leadership roles to lead with confidence. In 2024, Dinah relaunched BRiM (Black Representation in Marketing), a groundbreaking sponsorship program for Black talent in UK advertising. With over 100 participants from major companies like WPP and Publicis Groupe, BRiM reflects Avenir’s innovative, data-driven DEI approach. Dinah’s visionary leadership and Avenir’s rapid growth position her as a transformative force, redefining equity and inclusion in advertising.
