Google’s Marketing Vice President UK & Ireland, EMEA Devices and Services and EMEA Events & Experiences

Eileen Mannion is Google’s Marketing Vice President in the UK & Ireland, EMEA Devices and Services and EMEA thought leadership events. Since joining in 2004, she‘s helped her function grow from 50 people to the team of 500+ today, opened offices across the region, and led teams in +25 countries. Eileen and her team are deeply committed to helping make media matter; from reaching and engaging with communities to create content that truly reflects consumers, to investing in culturally relevant media, and delivering inclusive experiences - this critical topic is at the core of Eileen's strategy. More recently, Eileen was behind a multi-year commitment to close the visibility gap of women’s football in UK media. Last summer, Google Pixel partnered with the Football Association and then with legendary Arsenal and Liverpool football clubs to bring fans closer to the game they love through dedicated coverage and content. At the heart of this plan was Pixel FC - a dedicated collective of women's football content creators and presenters - given exclusive access to pitchside, training, tools and investment, all unlocked through Pixel’s partnerships. Their journey kicked off last summer when Pixel FC were sent to Australia and New Zealand to cover the Women’s World Cup. Working with Footballco, TikTok and Pixel FC, Google Pixel increased Goal.com coverage of the Women’s World Cup ‘23 by five fold and is working with both Arsenal and Liverpool to replicate these successes during the Women’s Super League season.
