Harriet Evans

Media Sense

Harriet first stepped into the media consultancy sector two years ago and in that time has quickly made her impact known with significant contributions to MediaSense’s product development programme.

Recognising an opportunity to modernise the process, Harriet developed an automated assessment programme for a major global pharmaceutical company across 36 markets. The Sanofi Golden Rules assessment process had historically been highly manual, limiting scalability and the granularity of analysis possible. Harriet’s leadership of a cross-functional team of strategists and developers, led to a significant step change. Workflows have since been automated using direct API feeds from key digital platforms (DV360, Facebook, IAS), the AWS Athena SQL interface tool and Alteryx to allow assessments to take place in just hours (rather than weeks). These processes are now being rolled out to other clients, helping to unlock significant operational efficiency across the business Most impressive is the pivot Harriet made in her career from location scouting to media consulting, embracing the challenge of a new industry and acquiring a new set of technical skills to become a highly indispensable member of the company. Harriet’s technical expertise and mentorship has been commended by colleagues via an internal “Grandy” award for always being a helping hand and explaining complicated processes in a simple way. Beyond client delivery, Harriet is one of MediaSense’s Sustainability Champions – taking ownership for developing company-wide sustainable practices and behaviours. Harriet most recently led the Big Plastic Count and is part of the team working towards B Corp certification.
