A true industry trailblazer, Jane has made a career of using insight to inform meaningful marketing. At independent agency group, Unlimited, she has been given the backing, the team, and the tools to unleash the true power of human understanding.

Jane always has an eye on what’s coming next. She runs The Brainy Bar, where industry experts discuss how the latest academic thinking might be actionable in the marketing world. It’s this thought leadership that led Unlimited to be an early adopter of neuroscience and behavioural science. She has led the development of the Human Understanding Lab (HUL) – Unlimited’s analytical engine room – where 120 experts in neuro, behavioural, and data science use cutting-edge tools to deliver accurate customer insight. The agency’s creative, digital, and marketing experts then use this to define strategy and drive performance across increasingly complex customer journeys. Jane’s leadership has even helped to change the strategic direction of Unlimited itself. Together with the leadership team, Jane oversaw a huge consolidation programme to bring the capabilities of 23 separate agencies into one place with centralised back-office functions and, crucially, a single bottom line. With agencies no longer competing for business, and with a clear view of our entire offering, we’re serving clients better – and it shows. Our annual independent client audit against 1,000 other agencies gave us a performance score of 8.7 out of 10, against a 7.5 industry average.
