Philippa is Senior Vice President of EMEA at The Trade Desk, responsible for leading the regional operational headquarters, driving revenue generation and new client acquisition strategy. Through her 25 years in tech and advertising, Philippa is passionate about creating a digital media ecosystem that works and benefits all: broadcasters, publishers, advertisers, agencies and consumers. Philippa has seen how absolute power can corrupt and harm our creative ecosystem, making her passionate about leveling the playing field and supporting the open internet.

In an ever-changing industry, Philippa places a premium on remaining humble and continuing to learn – while encouraging and motivating others to do the same. She recognises the importance of investing time to understand issues, which she often does by empowering her team to contribute their views and insights. In its most recent quarter, The Trade Desk experienced growth of 31% YoY, continuing to outpace its peers as growing numbers of advertisers recognise the benefits of the open internet – something Philippa has played a proactive role in shaping and evangelizing. The vision Philippa has for changing the industry is a big one and she knows it can’t just be about The Trade Desk. She plays a pivotal role in convening events to transform and improve the industry, from Innovation Days and mentorship, to hosting important discussions on DEI and gender equality and tackling climate change.
