Shipra joined Wavemaker in 2021 as Global Chief People, Inclusion and Culture Officer, to oversee all aspects of the people function to ensure that Wavemaker continues to attract the best talent and create great careers regardless of level, role or geography in the organisation that spans 7,000 people across 88 markets. She is a passionate advocate for creating a sense of belonging in the workplace by working on key initiatives with a focus on diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I), leadership development and succession planning. Shipra is a seasoned HR professional with a deep understanding of culture and how to create fulfilling careers for a diverse workforce in an ever-changing marketplace. She has a keen interest in Building Culture, High Performing Teams, and Inclusion, as well as supporting neurodiverse individuals to succeed in the media industry. Shipra has become increasingly aware of changes to the workplace by allowing it to be an inclusive environment for all and looking ahead, her wish is to better interact and learn from those who are neurodivergent. Shipra wants to build trust and respect so she can get their often-invisible traits to the forefront. Her goal is a workplace where all our colleagues are seen and thriving.
