Account Director

Sophie Vassiliou is currently working as OPEN Media’s Account Director, after finding her passion for OOH during a placement year at University, making such a great impression that she was offered a full-time role before even finishing her studies. The diligence and authenticity that underpins Sophie’s role is evidenced both by her contributions to OPEN’s business performance, but also the huge role she plays in empowering young females in the industry. Since starting at OPEN in February 2021, she has delivered a huge 696% growth in revenue, whilst also increasing her patch from 22 in 2021, to 43 in 2022, to now working on an impressive 73 brands today. Sophie has transitioned from Account Manager to Senior Account Manager to Account Director, all within just two years and at the age 28 she is on track for a promotion to Business Director next year, standing her to be one of the youngest female BDs in the industry. In conjunction with her significant contribution to our business performance, Sophie is continually looking at ways to fly the flag for other women in the industry, starting as a Coppafeel ambassador in University, currently mentoring in the bloom network, being a mentee in the WACL mentoring programme and helping us to host our monthly OPEN chats, sparking inspiring conversations with other females in the industry. We’re so proud of Sophie and everything she has achieved so far, and she continues to inspire us every day.
