Tamara Littleton

The Social Element

Founder and CEO

For 21 years, CEO Tamara Littleton has been a trailblazer in reshaping the agency landscape again and again. Identifying the potential of social media early on, she established The Social Element with a remote-first approach, fostering flexibility and inclusivity. This strategy enables The Social Element to attract a diverse talent pool and enables individuals with different experiences, including caring responsibilities and disabilities, to contribute to the agency's success and bring their full selves to work.

Tamara's commitment to diversity has resulted in a 98.8% UK staff retention rate, with an average service length of 6.83 years. Under her leadership, TSE has evolved into a £11 million organisation with a global team of 300. Once again, recognising the need for change in the agency landscape, Tamara has initiated a transformation in the past year. Key 'socially native' hires underscore her strategic vision and the company's services now include creative innovation, content creator army building and social consultancy to help build high-performing in-house teams. Tamara's thought leadership is evident through industry recognitions and her participation in panels and events showcases expertise in LGBTQ+ representation, crisis leadership, and platform insights. Beyond business success, Tamara actively contributes to social causes as a fellow of ‘The Marketing Society’ and initiatives like The WealthiHer Network. The Social Element, led by Tamara's exceptional vision, stands as a global leader in social media marketing, embodying both business excellence and social responsibility.
