Nicky has won and judged at most of the major shows. She has been President of the Direct jury for both Cannes Lions and D&AD, and has recently judged Cannes Titanium Lions. She was Chair of the Direct Marketing Association's Awards Council for 2 years and has advised charitable organisations such as Women for Women and for The Hope Collective, a collaboration between youth organisations and brands to change the conversation about young people. Nicky regularly speaks at events, for example 2024 Cannes Lions Festival where she spoke on the subject of ageism in the advertising industry across multiple panels. She also contributes to industry press frequently.
Nicky was the first creative woman to become Chair of a UK marketing agency and was ranked No1 Chair for two years on the Creative Pool Network. Nicky was named as one of Ad Age's Leading Women of Europe, had featured in the Financial Times HERoes List 3 times, was recently featured in Campaign's Top 20 Creatives and was named Campaign's Agency Leader of The Year for Customer Engagement. On her watch she has taken both LIDA and MRM to Campaign's Agency of The Year title a total of three times and runners up 4 times. Since arriving at MullenLowe, she has also won a shortlist for Integrated Agency of the Year. Nicky oversees the creative output of MullenLowe and is internationally recognised for her leadership, creative prowess across every medium, and wicked sense of humour. She has an awards cabinet full to the brim but the most important campaigns to Nicky are those that have created positive change and impact.
