Gursharan Panesar
Seen Studios
Senior Creative Strategist
Gursharan became Seen Studios' first in-house strategist towards the end of 2024. Within just 12 months, she elevated the framework that defines the agency's strategic IP and product, transforming how strategy is delivered. Her approach rejects algorithmic trends and buzzwords in favour of genuine human insight, grounding brand strategy in how people think and behave. This philosophy has shaped 16 major pitches and 18 client projects for Nike, Timberland, Footlocker, and Dr. Martens, with clients consistently praising her ability to decode behaviour and deliver clarity.Beyond client delivery, Gursharan seeks to extend the agency's impact. She led Seen's first research report, The Creators' Way, presenting findings at MAD//Fest. Internally, she delivered trend forecasting training for 15+ creatives and secured expensed immersion excursions, ensuring teams have access to IRL cultural stimuli, not just desk research. She co-founded Seen City, a quarterly series, spotlighting grassroots talent across Europe, launching January 2026. And she mentored two emerging professionals who now work full-time in the creative industry. Her influence extends beyond projects. She serves on the B-Corp committee and received the quarterly Seen Star award; voted by her team in recognition of the energy she brings to the office. Actively breaking down traditional silos, she makes strategic thinking accessible across the agency, recognising the work isn't fun if you can't share it with others. At 27, Gursharan has established herself not only as a strategist who leverages emerging insights that further campaigns, but someone who understands that lasting impact comes from elevating others.
