Lucy Daramola’s 16-year career epitomises perseverance, determination, and resilience. Starting as a curious young girl from the East End of London, her passion for media and advertising evolved into a purposeful career. Initially believing that visionaries were preordained prodigies, Lucy realised that while some visionaries are born, others are made, and she is the latter.In 2018, Lucy joined an AdTech startup, quickly becoming a trusted advisor to the CEO and a top-performing leader. She exceeded her annual targets by 244% and increased the highest ARR account's revenue by 105%. In 2022, Lucy joined Microsoft Advertising while seven months pregnant, advocating for normalising pregnancy at all career stages. As UK/EMEA Group Client Director, she manages a multimillion-dollar portfolio, and her leadership earned her the 'One Microsoft' award for two consecutive years. Beyond her commercial achievements, Lucy is a powerful advocate for industry change and empowerment. She served on the inaugural Soho House Global Diversity Board and founded an initiative 'Gen AI Is For Me,' a program aimed at bridging the digital divide by providing AI skills to state school parents and educators. Her philanthropic efforts include raising £30k for Crisis UK and spearheading a partnership with the Boleyn Trust to support primary schools in Newham. Recognised for her contributions, Lucy has received numerous industry accolades, including 'Campaign’s 30 under 30,' Search Engine Land's Diversity Award, Pitch Magazine's 'Superperson,' and the Future 100 List.
