In just 3 and a half years and completely bootstrapped, I have built and nurtured a team of 20 who are 85% under 28 years old, and who are more than 70% female. As a next generation media company and brand, it was essential for me to make sure our company is disruptive inside and out, and that meant creating an environment that celebrates young and diverse talent and allows immense growth within the company. On our newer agency side, I have built exciting partnerships with brands, including wagamama, Calvin Klein, TOMS and Huawei, with a focus on social-first campaigns rooted in first-hand data collected from a unique test audience we have created. As a result of our success, I’ve also been invited to teach a module on next generation media at Central Saint Martins to year 2 BA students.
