Emily Gosen

Ketchum UK

Influence is about changing the narrative in the hope to make lives, experiences and creativity better for those around us. This is exactly what Emily has done in the past 12 months.

And not the easy way round. Because PR has, for a long time, suffered, as the ‘poor creative cousin’ to ad and creative agencies, but this is something Emily has turned around through her dogmatic attitude and relentless pursuit for creative excellence. Creating work that is, literally, changing lives and elevating Ketchum London to a place like never before. An Adobe campaign that gets minority kids into the creative industry by using rap superstar Little Simz’s own life story. Using love, not fear to get young people to get the COVID jab for the Mayor of London. The first ever collaboration between a tech company and first Black owned fashion house, and a campaign for LEGO, that doesn’t feature a single piece of LEGO, but shows the importance of free play for parents and kids. The work she has created is truly culture first. Not just ads, but permeating down through culture and society. Work that matters, inspires and makes a difference. Alongside this, Emily has taken on the responsibility of mentoring junior creatives in the Ketchum department and a number of industry initiatives, helping other younger females to shine in an industry which we know is still imbalanced. Her commitment, drive, enthusiasm and relentless pursuit of creative excellence is absolutely something that should be recognised.
