Kate Lynham

Unit 9

On a mission to fuse digital and physical elements together to craft brand experiences with serious wow factor, Kate is one of UNIT9’s most dynamic creative weapons. Coming from an architectural background, she has worked hard over the years to expand her creative skills and add a number of tools to her wide and varied arsenal, including AR, VR, robotics and other emerging technologies. Kate’s drive for innovation has led her to constantly break new ground and create a number of world-firsts - from creating a Guinness world record-breaking projection-mapped game of Candy Crush in New York, to sending a Samsung phone into space to take the world’s first space selfie. But aside from her award-winning work for some of the biggest brands in the world, it’s Kate’s dedication to nurturing young creative talent and furthering female representation at work that sets her apart as a champion of creativity. Her work both as a mentor to female creatives within UNIT9, and in supporting and critiquing university students as they prepare to start their creative careers highlights her contribution to the young creative community - and her full time return to work as a new mum adopting a flexible working approach has helped set a new precedent for fellow parents across the business.
