Rachel has been described as the powerhouse behind the successful internal and external marketing of Jacobs digital products, services, and solutions. She is leading best practice and global governance of the end-to-end product marketing process in supporting the company’s digital transformation through the identification of new income streams and business growth opportunities.

Rachel was Jacobs first-ever product and digital marketer. She first built, and now leads, a multidisciplinary international marketing function powered by forward-thinking strategic marketers, analysts, content creators, and designers. This team leverages marketing to help engineering domain specialists transform and commercialise their game-changing ideas into pioneering digital products, services, and solutions that aim to solve some of the world’s toughest challenges. Rachel is influencing a real shift in Jacobs – she has launched award-winning products, reduced silos, exceeded targets, strengthened international collaboration, optimised processes, created a product marketing blueprint, introduced software and a pipeline of ideas to incubate, and had fun doing it! Alongside work, Rachel is a mentor to multiple women interested in joining the STEM field and she is passionate about demystify the stigma around dyslexia. She is the Scottish Co-Chair of Jacobs Women’s Network and has completed 3 years of studying with the Chartered Institute of Marketing on her journey towards gaining Chartered Marketer status. She won ‘The One to Watch’ at the Global Women in Marketing Awards 2021, ‘The Rising Star’ at the UK Business Tech Awards 2022, and her team won ‘The Challenger’ Award at Jacobs Q3/Q4 Sales Awards 2022.
